Crochet-a-lot

Blogging is hard. Really hard. Lets turn this blogging every so often around and GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. so I love crochet. I always though of it as a October-December hobby. Where i would be frantically making as many scarfs and hats as I could(single crochet style). This past year however I discovered the world of amigurumi, and I am hooked-Worst. Pun. Ever. Today I would like to share my mounted deer head.

The frame is from garden ridge. I just took the glass out and crocheted a blue oval to fit inside and sewed on my completely no pattern tiny deer head. I am going to make another and write down the pattern to share. If you would be interested in testing the pattern leave your email in the comments.

I'm gonna keep blogging. I'm gonna keep blogging.

Pablo the panda

For this mounted crochet delight I roughly went off of this  Panda pattern. However since I was mounting the head on a frame I had to adjust a bit. Instead of felt I crocheted small circles for around the eyes. This little guy took no time and he's just too cute.

Anyone else have to google the word amigurumi before they write it? Or is that just me.

Chose a nice red background to make this panda pop!

Tomorrow- a bear of a different type

Mr. Moose

Every day this week I will show a new amigurumi mount I've done. I will be going back
And writing down the patterns and I would like
some people to test them out for me. Today it's
A very classy moose

The antlers on this fellow were trying, to say the least.
But that just means ill be able to write down the pattern easily.
Since I made about 7 antlers before I was happy.

Check back tomorrow for Pablo the panda!
